Computer required. Not compatible with Android or iOS phones or tablets.
wotii runs as a Chrome extension on a laptop or desktop computer. It is not a mobile app and cannot run on a phone or tablet, so chat capture, commands and replies only happen while Chrome is open on your computer.
Use Google Chrome on a laptop or desktop PC: Windows, macOS, ChromeOS or Linux. The wotii extension is not compatible with Android or iOS, including phones, iPads and other tablets.
Recommended setup for a smooth show
1. Your show
Phone: broadcast your show
Use your phone to film and broadcast your Whatnot show as usual.
2. Optional
Second device: manage auctions
If you need it, use another phone, tablet or computer to manage your auctions. This device does not run wotii.
3. Recommended
Separate computer: leave wotii running
Set a laptop or desktop to the side with wotii installed in Google Chrome. Sign in to your seller account and leave your own live seller show page open with chat visible.
A separate computer is recommended, not required. It keeps wotii undisturbed while you focus on selling.
Leave it running for the whole show
Keep your live seller show tab visible in Chrome. For the most reliable setup, avoid switching tabs, minimising that window or using this computer for auctions.
Plug the computer in, keep it awake and online, and leave the laptop lid open. Turn off automatic sleep before you start.
You can run your show from your phone, but the Whatnot seller page must be open in Chrome on your computer, and that computer must stay awake and online.
The dashboard, request queue and chat history can be viewed on a phone, but wotii will not run there.
wotii needs uninterrupted access to your live show page and chat, not your whole screen. Closing Chrome, leaving your show page, sleep or losing internet interrupts it.
Your show lists, together
Requests, questions and interested viewers each have their own place.
Requests
An organised list, not a lost chat message
Viewers type !request followed by an item. Typing !request on its own posts your saved instructions.
Requests for the same item stack together, keeping every requester's name on one entry.
Notify everyone waiting when an item is ready, then mark the request complete. Keep the list beside your show in a pop-out.
Notify lists
Keep your interested viewers across shows
Viewers type notify or !notify to join your main list. A saved keyword on its own, or notify followed by that keyword, joins its matching list.
Viewer signups carry over to future shows, separately for each connection. Repeat signups do not duplicate viewers. Type unnotify to leave.
Save your own messages, switch them on or off, and send a chat broadcast tagging members while your seller show is live. These are chat mentions, not email or phone alerts.
Questions
Give viewer questions their own place
Viewers type !question followed by their question. Questions stay separate from item requests.
Matching questions stack quietly, so you can see everyone asking without extra duplicate replies.
Send your saved reply and mark a question answered when you are ready. Selling an item never automatically completes a question.
More for every live show
Custom chat commands
Answer !shipping, !rules and your own commands with saved or random replies. Choose public, host-only or moderator-only access.
Games with personality
Keep chat lively with !slots, !flip, !joke, !riddle and !roast username. Pick your own slots emojis, with riddle answers highlighted in chat.
Giveaways on your schedule
Post opening messages, countdown reminders and winner congratulations. Schedule recurring giveaways by name letter, or trigger one after a genuine raid above your chosen size.
Welcomes & raid cheers
Welcome chosen viewers on joining or first chat, once per show. First-chat welcomes work for incognito viewers too. Personalise your incoming raid messages.
Tips & buyer celebrations
Thank viewers for each tip with your own shout-out. Celebrate genuine first-time purchases and observed reward-tier level-ups.
Whole-show leaderboard
!leaderboard celebrates your top tipper, chatter and buyer. Totals stay for the show through refreshes and reconnects. !winner reports the latest completed sale.
Buyer & chat history
See captured purchases alongside each buyer's chat. Each username appears once in Buyers with a combined item count, while show history keeps the conversation together.
Trusted moderator tools
Choose who can use moderator commands. Hosts and permitted moderators can type !mods for private command help, keeping staff-only instructions out of viewer show notes.
No OBS needed
Chat tools run through the Chrome extension and your live seller show page. No OBS setup is required. A laptop or desktop with Chrome is still essential.
Less setup, more selling
Personalised show notes
Save your show introduction and copy it with your available viewer commands, ready to paste into Whatnot. Private and staff-only commands stay out.
Settings without the repeat work
Copy a selected settings tab between your own connections without replacing other tabs. Your chosen connection and open or closed setup cards are remembered.
Easier message editing
Insert names and other message words from the chips below each box, and check the character countdown as you write your replies.
Safer show-only operation
Capture and replies stay on your own seller live show page, not watch pages or your Whatnot inbox. An optional auto-refresh helps recover a show tab after 30 minutes without chat activity.
All new features, unlimited updates and fixes are included in your subscription. Subscribers can suggest what comes next.
